Digital masonry, Dynamic Leadership and Defense of the Ruffians.  We’ve been busy.  And it’s no surprise – we’re doing some exciting stuff to enhance our communication and reconnecting with some of the events of our past.

Our last several meetings tell the real story – we’re experiencing aggressive growth and several more brothers pluralled in at our Wautoma meeting. WM Adam Rigden was a great host and the discussions continued at a local restaurant.  There’s a real hunger out there and at Silas, we’re serving up heaping servings of education and brothers are excited to bring a taste of Silas back to their home lodges.

It’s been a hell of a ride this year and we’re not slowing down.  Just the week after Annual Communication we’ll be headed up to the Northwoods for our June meeting. It’s a great way to connect with our charge as a lodge – that charge is to serve up masonic education to our whole state.

Record turnout at our meetings tells us we’re doing something right.  Brethren tell me stories about how they’re going back to their lodge and having good discussions there too.  We should all be damn proud of that.  As one of the fastest growing lodge in Wisconsin, we’re doing something right.

In Defense of the Ruffians at Hays Lodge was a lot of fun and an amazing discussion – so much so that we’re going to do an encore performance up in LaCrosse for what may be the first time it has been performed in western Wisconsin.

Communication through digital masonry has greatly improved over the past few years. We Masons are coming into our own and we’re spending less time responding to distractions and more time sharing the stories of our craft.  And it’s not just us noticing, we’ve had great progress with lodges in Wisconsin.

Damn Proud,

WM Jim McGuigan
