Why: Fun, fellowship, and increasing your Masonic knowledge! This is an investment in your Masonic experience and your Lodge!

Brethren of District 7 Lodges:

Schools Of Instruction are provided to all Lodges in this Masonic Jurisdiction during each Grand Lodge year, per Wisconsin Masonic Code. The objective of a School of Instruction (SOI) is to promote uniformity in performance of the Ritual, as set forth in the Multiple Letter Cipher distributed by Grand Lodge.

The District 7 Schools of Instruction are organized by geographic area to promote fellowship among nearby Lodges and minimize travel distances. The School should last roughly 90 minutes and Q&A is highly encouraged!

The host Lodge will open in MM degree. Topics covered include the following:

Due Guards & Signs

Rod Work

Floor Work

Calling Down vs. Closing to Open in a Lower Degree

Portions of Second Section MM

Important elements typically overlooked/forgotten/mistaken

Again, Lodge Officers are required to attend, while all non-officers are encouraged to attend.

The School Of Instruction is a place to refine your Ritual work for proficiency, not perfection. Please bring your cipher books with you to the School of Instruction.

Feel free to attend any or all of the SOIs.

Please email our District Lecturer, Richard Moen at dl7@wimasons.org if you have any questions!
